Changes have been made at the executive level at AeroLogic, the DHL Express, and the Lufthansa Cargo partnership. With effect from October 1, 2022, AeroLogic now has a new managing director in charge of the company's finances and administration in the person of Katharina Prost. Before this, she served as the Managing Director of Aeromar, a Russian airline catering company co-owned by Aeroflot and LSG SkyChefs. After Martin Hirsch's June arrival as Austrian Airlines' new Head of Finance, she has taken over the position.
Joe Moser, the Managing Director of Operations and Accountable Manager at AeroLogic GmbH since March 2017, will continue working in this capacity thanks to a contract extension. Before, he oversaw AeroLogic's flight operations and pilot education.

The Leipzig-based freight logistics company AeroLogic was founded in 2007 as a partnership between DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo. It was in the summer of 2009 that the combined operations first began. For the time being, Lufthansa Cargo is promoting the available space on 16 additional Boeing 777 freighters. Even though five of these planes are chartered from AeroLogic and managed by AeroLogic employees, they fly under the Lufthansa Cargo brand. AeroLogic operates a fleet of 21 Boeing 777F planes of its own.
