The new Volkswagen Caddy California camper van will replace the Caddy Beach van. Externally, the car looks almost the same as a traditional VW Caddy.
Inside, however, the designers tried to make VW California as comfortable as possible for travel and camping. This is how a new bed with quality springs and a mattress appeared. If necessary, it can be easily folded in the trunk. There is also room for a couple of chairs and a camp table.
For a feeling of the effect of the starry sky, a panoramic sunroof is provided in the van. In turn, LED lights above the bed will help you avoid tripping at night. A pull-out kitchenette is provided under the bed, consisting of several components (gas hob, windscreen, food and cutlery sections). The kitchen can be used with the back door open.
An optional tent can be purchased as an accessory. Then two people can sleep in a car and a tent.
The new Volkswagen Caddy California will be offered in two versions: with a body length of 4501 or 4853 millimetres. The engine range includes TDI engines with 74 and 120 horsepower. Also, a four-wheel-drive system is available as an option.
