The new 7-speed automatic transmission is available for both the Ford Puma and Ford Fiesta 1.0-liter EcoBoost Hybrid. The gear changes happen as much as 4% faster with the automatic transmission than without.

The Ford Puma 1.0-liter EcoBoost Hybrid with 155 HP and the new automatic transmission accelerates from 0 - 100 km / h in 8.7 seconds. You can also override the automatic transmission in the Puma ST-Line and ST-Line Vignale.
Fuel consumption for the Fiesta and Puma Ecoboost Hybrid is 5% lower than with the comparable 1.0-liter EcoBoost petrol variants. The EcoBoost Hybrid powertrain works by integrating an electric motor with the 3-cylinder 1.0-liter EcoBoost petrol engine. It uses stored energy in the 48 volt battery, to give the car extra 20 Nm of torque when accelerating, and also gives reduced fuel consumption.
With the new 7-speed automatic transmission, the Ford Puma and Ford Fiesta takes full advantage of Stop & Start technology when using adaptive cruise control. With the FordPass app, you can start up the car from your phone.
